Self Rescue Sea Kayak Re-entry Using Hi-N-Dry Paddle Shaft Float In Place of a Paddle Float

Here I demonstrate using the Hi-N-Dry in place of a paddle float for re-entry into a sea kayak - a critical skill that all sea kayakers must be able to perform consistently. Turns out the Hi-N-Dry makes a good substitute for a paddle float for me. I've never tried using a paddle float however so I can't vouch for whether it is better or worse than it in terms of stabilization. I'm athletic as well which might make me rely on the float less to re-enter the boat. I'd say that if I were to sea kayak, I'd forego buying a paddle float and use my Hi-N-Dry for self rescue reentry if I were to ever wet exit.
